Yes, the icons you generate are yours to use, including in commercial apps. You are responsible for making sure the generated design does not infringe third-party trademarks or copy well-known existing icons.

Which platforms and icon sizes are supported?

IconForge generates all required sizes for iOS (20 pt - 1024 pt), Android (36 px - 512 px), and HarmonyOS (48 px - 1024 px). Every icon is exported as a lossless PNG, named and organised exactly as the platform expects.

What image formats can I upload?

Accepted Answer

You can upload PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, and SVG files. For best results we recommend a square image of at least 1024 x 1024 px. You can also crop the image after uploading to get the perfect framing.

Are my images stored on your servers?

Accepted Answer

No. Uploaded images are processed entirely in your browser using the Canvas API and are never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser cache will permanently delete any locally saved images, so please download your icons as soon as they are ready.

Can I use the converted icons in commercial projects?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the source image you upload. If your original image has no copyright restrictions and you hold the rights to use it, the converted icons will have no copyright issues and can be used freely in commercial projects. However, if the uploaded image is subject to copyright or licensing terms, you must comply with those requirements. IconForge only handles the format conversion and does not alter the copyright status of your image.
